Yep--up at 2:18am. Can't sleep. Maybe it's cause George and Cabo sound like they're clear-cutting a forest right now. Or, could be cause I just thought up a new line of paper, stickers and stamps, and had to get up and write down my notes & some sketches before I loose it in sleepy time. Because the longer I lay there and think about the awesomeness of it, the more I want to call Vicki and tell her all about it. Which would just get me a huge smack upside the head for calling her at this hour....what's a girl to do?
Jump online of course, now that I'm totally wired, and HGTV is on to it's Paid Programming for the night.
So--I'll just ramble on here on the blog. What did I do today? Worked for quite awhile, and got quite a few orders out the door. Had an appointment late this afternoon to refresh my hair color. Almost had Donna whack it off, but she said if I was wishy-washy, she wouldn't do it. So--just some "Cherry Cola" color, bleached back in some highlights, and about a 2.5" trim. Lovely. Then she put it up real pretty, and I really liked it a lot better. She blows it dry, which I never do, so George actually asked if I got a perm today. I'm a wash, comb out, spray gel and go kind of gal. No, honey, no perm. Just finished hair. LOL!
Came home and started working on the flower beds. We're spreading mulch this weekend, and needed to get them weeded. Course--we were smart, and bought mulch with weed stop in it, but still have to weed before it goes down. Well--the main flower bed took me 3 hours to weed and plant a few pansies that mom gave me (a whole flat of). I also planted some glad bulbs I got at the great HD (Home Depot) last weekend. We have to go get 10 more bags of mulch in the morning to finish the front yard, and some potting soil for my pots. Might even try to squeeze in a trip to Al's, but probably not going to make it. My hands are already swollen, and I've taken my one ring off I always wear. Also slathered on the body butter to them, as they were so dry they were itchy.
We have our Poker League Saturday night, and after working in the yard so much this weekend, I want to be able to move. LOL!
We want to go see a Movie on Sunday, but only a couple things playing at the theater we're really interested in. "21" and something else that escapes my mind right now. Shocking--I know.
UGGH! I just know the dog's going to need to get up in a few hours to go outside. Better get back to bed. 2:33am now...maybe I'll skip Al's and take a nap before the game....GREAT IDEA!
