These three cards were super quick and easy to make. I simply typed the words Congrats on a card stock, printed it out on a piece of white cardstock and embelished with a little strip of Boxer Green, Pink and baby blue polks dot paper. I added a beautiful little baby charm for a simple, yet elegant baby card.

We are just 11 days away from Valentines Day. I love creating handmade projects for this special time of year. I found this big square lollipop and I knew it would be cute and fun to embellish for Valentines day. I used a 2" scallop circle punch, and created a cute little tage from an oval punch with a heart.
Boxer products: Red and Pink diagnal stripe and pink polka dot paper.
Other: Scallop cirle and oval punch, heart punch, circle punch, cardstock and ribbon.
This cute little project was fast and easy to make. I used a 2" scallop punch to created the round labels and stamped with Boxer's Simply Sentimental Stamps. These are great to have on hand when you need a quick little tags for a gift. I covered the tin with a beautifully bright and cheery GHP Beach Stripe 315 Paper.
Boxer Supplies: Boxer Tin, GHP Beach Strip 315, Boxer green pola dot, Boxer Orange Paisle, Boxer blue houndstooth, Simply Sentimental Graias, Make a Wish, To/From stamps.
Other Supplies: Sizzix daizy stamp, 2" scallop punch, scallop scissors, craft string.

It's a little early but here is Februarys sketch challenge! I mentioned last month that we'd be alternating layout and card sketches so here is the first card sketch of 2011.
The design team will be sharing their cards throughout the month, but to get you started here is my interpretation of the sketch.
Boxer Products: Princess paisley paper; Valentine embossed paper flowers; Jade mini brad;
I am really loving this design, and will probably be making more cards with this design throughout the year. I tend to do that with designs I like, no-one said you can't repeat a design you like! I think it works well with this color combination too, the princess paisley is one of my favorite Boxer papers and I do use it a lot so I was happy this card turned out just as I imagined!

I always love a challenge and stamps are definitely a challenge for me. I love to see what people can do with them. But I think I see the black image on the packaging and then the image of my project is that black stamped image.
So for being stamp challenged, I absolutely love the Sentimental Singles stamps. For this card, I used the Hugs and Kisses and Love Postage stamp. Across the front of the card, I repeated the Hugs and Kisses. Looking through the clear stamp and block, they line up perfectly to cover across the card. Then with the Love stamp, I stamped one image, cut out the heart and traced it onto red cardstock. Inked the edges of the heart and added penwork and glued over the other heart on my second image. Adding the stardust pen around the edges of the black stamped image cleans up the edges of my image and adds some sparkle. After inking the edges of the trimmed stamped image, I added the red mat. For the rest of the card, I used the striped paper and black cardstock and trimmed them to like pieces of an envelope. Add the ribbon, some penwork and added foam tape under the Love for dimension.
Feeling a little less challenged now and really like how easy this card was to make. Now the hard part is to decide who to send it to.
Supplies: Red and Black stripe paper, Hugs and Kisses Sentimental Singles Stamp, Love Postage Stamp Sentimental Single Stamp, Stardust pen, white gelly roll pen, Love You ribbon, Red grosgrain, 3D foam squares, Glue dots

For this weeks challenge I wanted to do something fun with the Simply Sentimental Stamps. I created Valentines Day treat bags. Each bag is large enough for a few little treats.

I love to use sketches. But they are not limited to just scrapbook pages. I took this month's sketch and adapted it to a card. Using scraps of papers instead of photo mats and a strip of transparency instead of a title, this card only took a few minutes.

We were challenged this week to use Stamps for our designer challenge and whenever I hear "stamp challenge" I think greeting cards! There are many products I love from Boxer, and the sentiment stamps are my joint first place (tied with Dog papers!). Personally I am a HUGE card maker and I'd rather make cards than layouts anyday so stamp challenge on I decided to break out the sentiment stamps and get busy!
Boxer Products: Black & White stripe paper; Lavendar 3/8" Rick Rack; Purple button mix; Birthday Dots Stamp;
I like that I used the stamp in a way that shows it's more versatile than it's alloted circular shape. The slide mount I used is old stock of Boxer so yu may have some in your supplies. Dig those out and just place them over a stamped sentiment, add some paper and ribbon and VOILA! WQick and Easy greeting card Done!

I saw this idea for a chipbaord gift card holder and I thought it would make a cute little mini brag book. I whipped out Boxer's pink line of products, so much fun stuff to choose from. I am not sure if you are aware but the yellow button in the middle of the flower is actually chipboard. The chipboard is from Boxer's Girle Greetings chipboard accents. I punched two small holes in the center and used a diamond glaze to make it extra shiny.
Boxer Products: Pink Paisley, Small pink polka dot & crowns paper. Boxer's Girle Greetings chipboard accents and pink embossd flowers as well as a circle clip that holds it all together.
Other products: pink cardstock, craft string and ribbon and gems.

I created this card using Boxers Celebrate chipbaord accents, they are perfect for any of life's celebrations. This card has a lot of texture, I am not sure if you can see it all from the picture. I wanted the card to have a shabby look so I crocheted trim around the edge. My favorite feature is the balck flower. I used Boxer's Embossed paper flower, I curled and inked the edges and finished it off with a chipboard accent in the middle.

So even if you don't own a cat...borrow one. Go to the local SPCA and do a book for them...make a gift for a friend...dress your children up for Halloween. You'll be glad you did!!

Ok, I am first and foremost a cat lover. I have a very large and sweet dog, but I love being able to hold a kitty on my lap, or have it snuggle next to me in bed. At the moment, we are cat-less (not for long, I am sure), so I made this album to enjoy Stimpy, my favorite kitty from the past. These new chipboard cat albums come in two sizes. Although I chose single photos for my project, this larger album could be used to showcase a lot of smaller pics.
For the front cover of the album, I wanted a peekaboo look. I used a craft knife to cut a circle, then put the Cat Lover's transparency phrase over it before covering it with the Fat Cat paper. On the inside, I covered the transparency with the Purffect patterned paper. For the other pages, I used Boxer Buttons, Grosgrain Ribbons, Cat Lover's stamps, CLassy Cat stamp set, Cat Lovers Transparency, Black and Grey paw print, black polka dot, cat breed, and orange gingham papers papers. I also used the words best friends (not inking the "S") from the Tryke Mania clear stamp set.
You aren't limited to putting photos of your kitties in these albums. How about an album telling someone they are "The Cat's Meow" or a "Real cool Cat"? I had a lot of fun playing with these. Just the shape alone makes me smile!

She also stamped flowers and the word "Easter" from our Spring Stamp Set, and finished off the layout with Mega Fish Lovers Alphabet Stickers for the title.

A new Designers Challenge series has begun, and our design team has once again met the challenge. For one of their projects this month, we asked them to make a card. Here is what they created!

Cindy created this card, and really went outside the box! She cut the eggs out of the Easter Egg Paper, to create her flower petals! She added Green Gingham Paper (which she fringed to create grass), Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, and a Pearl Pin to hang her tag. Machine Zig Zag stitching is used for the stems of the flowers, and pink buttons finish them off!

Judith made this egg shaped card, pairing our papers, ribbons, eyelets and alphabet stickers! She chose (in order from top to bottom) Moss Green Grosgrain Ribbon, Green Multi Dot Paper, Pink 1/8" Eyelets, Blue Gingham Paper, Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, Blue Stripe Paper, and Horse Lovers Alphabet Stickers. More Designer's Challenges to come! We've still got the pages, and the item of their choice!

For this challenge, we asked the designers to complete a full party ensemble, using either the Butterfly Garden line or Dinosaur lines. Projects were to be a Card, Gable Box, and Scrapbook Page. Here, we're showing off the designers who picked the Butterfly Garden line! The other products they could use were Happy Birthday-Pink ribbon and Presents Charms.
Terri Hale: Terri created a very cute ensemble, using circles to create a sense of whimsy. She added the Horse Lovers Alphabet Stickers on all three items.

Erin Noll: Erin spiced up the Butterfly Garden papers by using our Black Dot paper. The striking contrast of these colors makes a bold statement. She added several colors of Grosgrain Ribbons, as well as our Color Mix Circle Clips.

Sam Kangas: Sam also used a circle theme on the Gable Box and 12x12 page, however she used the Round CD Tin Album Paper Packs for a quick shot of color and shape. She also did some inking techniques on the edges of her projects, to enhance the papers.
For this challenge, we asked the designers to create a 12 x 12 layout using a Non-Random styler of Transparency. They had the option to use any of Boxer's paper lines. Let's see what they came up with!
Cindy Knowles used the Seashore Transparency, paired with papers from our Fish Lovers Line (Texture and Stripes), along with Splash Custom Printed Ribbon, several colors of Grosgrain Ribbons, and Sun and Sand Charm Mix. Machine stitching on the border ads a nice touch to this page.
Dawn Morgan used the Vacation Transparency with several papers in the Boxer Basics Blues to create this great but simple page. Dawn also added Midnight Blue Mini Brads, a Gold Circle Clip and a charm from the Gone Buggy Charm Mix.
Erin Noll also used the Vacation Transparency to create her page. Erin added Nickel Mini Brads and Bright Green Grosgrain Ribbon to complete her page.
Kimberly Llorens used the Outdoor Random transparency to create her 12x12 page. Kim added our Green Plaid paper, slide mounts in Pastel Blue and Pastel Green, Honeydew Twill, Nickel D-Ring Tie Backs and Baby Blue Mini Brads to finish off her page.
Laura Nicholas did a 2 page spread using elements from The Great Outdoors transparency. Laura added Silver 3/16" Eyelets to her page, and threaded Grosgrain Ribbon (in Hunter Green, Brown and Eggshell) to create visual interest on both her title border, and her page 2 side border. Laura also used acrylic paints on the back side of the transparency to make the text blocks and title pop off her page.
Nancy Korf accented a huge photo on this page with the Seashore Transparency. Nancy also used the Guppy Stripe Paper from the Fish Lovers line, Sun and Sand Charm Mix, and three colors of Grosgrain Ribbon (Eggshell, Slate Blue and Terracotta).
Tina Boggs also used the Seashore Transparency, paired with the Coast Random transparency, and Guppy Texture paper. Great way to showcase the beautiful photos on the page!
This Designers Challenge was about using our Random Transparencies. They are 8.5 x 11, and have text randomly designed with a window in the middle (except for Thank You Random, which has no window). These transparencies are awesome used full size on an 8x8 page, as they work wonderfully as a frame. Our designers were challenged to use them full size, without cutting them if they could avoid it! Here is what they came up with:
Erin Noll used the Boy Random transparency, along with acrylic paint and Grosgrain Ribbons to highlight specific words or phrases on the transparency.
Kimberly Llorens used the Girl Random transparency, paired with a beautiful black and white photo, to create a very girly page. Background paper is Boxer's Pink Stripe from our Butterfly Garden Line.
Kelsey McDill chopped up the Boy Random transparency, and paired it with papers from several of our collections (Counter-clockwise from top): Small Light Blue Dot, Green Plaid, Small Red Dot, Green Multi Dot, Large Blue Dot and Blue Stripe.
Laura Nicholas uses both the Thank You transparency and Thank You Random transparency with photographs behind for a very special look. Laura also used Hunter Green Twill, Black Mini Brads, Gold D-Ring Tie Backs and Black 3/16" Eyelets.
Nancy Korf used the Outdoor Random Transparency with a beautiful blue background, and and intricate border out of cardstock. Nancy also used her favorite Boxer tool, the Stitch'n Ruler, to create the even stitching on the outside edge of the page. Fish Lovers Alphabet Stickers were used for the Fall 2005 title.
Tina Boggs used the Coast Random Transparency to showcase this beautiful photo of the Southern Oregon Coast. Tina also used one of the charms from the Sun and Sand Charm Mix, Nickel Mini Brads and Navy Grosgrain Ribbon.
Cindy Knowles use the Girl Random Transparency on this lovely page. Cindy also used our Green Gingham paper, Standard Book Pocket, and a White Library Card, along with some fabulous machine stitching, to create an interesting border and journaling area. She then added Leaf Photo Turns, Black Mini Brads, and Dog Lovers Mega Alphabets as a monogram to finish off the page.
Cindy created a second 8x8 page as well. This one uses the Outdoor Random Transparency, with our Meow Lovers Stripe paper as a background. Cindy paired those items with our Journey Ribbon, Terracotta Grosgrain Ribbon, Orange Argyle Paper, Fish Lovers Alpha Stickers, Antique Brass Mini Brads and Gold Triangle Clips.
Dawn Morgan created this fun beach page using the Coast Random Transparency, and our Blue Paisley paper as a background accent. She added Red Mini Brads along the curve of her background accent to add visual interest.
For June, one of the three projects that the design team was challenged with was to create a card using either style of our Thank You Transparencies. We have a Thank You and Thank You Random in our line of transparencies, and they are both very popular.

Our designers were able to use any of our paper lines, and any additional embellishments they desired. Here are the results:
Tina Boggs created a very cute card, using the Thank You transparency and papers from the Butterfly Garden series. She also used Pastel Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, Pink 3/16" Eyelets, Pastel Pearl Pin (as a charm hanger) and the butterfly charm from the Gone Buggy Charm Mix.
Nancy Korf created a striking card, again using the Thank You transparency. Nancy loves her Stitch'n Ruler, and uses it on as many projects as possible.
Laura Nicholas created a card using the Thank You transparency as well. She also used White 3/16" Eyelets, Red Grosgrain Ribbon and Red Gingham paper from our Dino Prints Collection.
Kelsey McDill created a simple Thank you card, using both of the transparencies. She alternates the Thank You and Thank You Random squares on this card, and accents it with Black Grosgrain Ribbon, white cardstock under one square and hand written text.
Kimberly Llorens went with a floral theme, using the Thank You Transparency. Kimberly used our Green Gingham, Pink Stripe and Pink Paisley from the Butterfly Garden Collection for the background, vase and flowers, and then used Moss Green Grosgrain Ribbon for the flower stems. White and Kelly Green Mini Brads finish off the card.
Erin Noll went with bold color choices that really make a spash! Erin used the Thank You Random transparency, and jazzed it up with White Grosgrain Ribbon, Round Metal Tag, and Silver 3/16" Eyelets.
Dawn Morgan combined two paper lines to make this great card. The Thank You Random transparency is mixed with Green Gingham from the Butterfly Garden Collection and the Green Plaid from the Dino Prints Collection. Dawn also added Navy Grosgrain Ribbon, Circle Clip, White Cardstock and Fish Lovers Alphabet Stickers.
Cindy Knowles used the Thank You Random Transparency to create this card. Paper is the Small Red Dot from our Red & Black Collection, Red Grosgrain Ribbon, and a White Domino.
