So with the craziness of last minute school shopping, I forgot to post my project for Monday. So, here it is...
I love daisies - whether they are real, paper, silk, or even stamped. For this card, I stamped the daisy image onto white cardstock and then cut out each flower. This way I can curl each petal to give them some dimension and add a button for the center. For the leaves, I stamped the daisy onto green cardstock and cut out just the petals. I added some foam tape under the white mat for even more pop.
Boxer Supplies used: Small red dot paper, yellow grosgrain, Daisy stamp, black pen (Sakura), yellow buttons
Additional supplies: White, blue, and dark green cardstock, blue ink pad, black ink pad.
Until next time, Happy Scrapping!

I love non-traditional schemes for holidays and special events. This teal, black, white, and gold seemed very elegant to me and could just as easily be a birthday or sympathy card.

While creating this calendar, I was trying to avoid the traditional "Baby" colors and go more with bright fun combos. I love this color combo of rich chocolatey browns with shades of turquoise.
Materials: 12 x 12 blank calendar, Calendar Stickers, Brown Dot, Brown Argyle, and GHP striped papers, brown grosgrain ribbon, metallic turquoise 1/4 " eyelets. Cardstock, bear punch.

We have had a new puppy in our house for about a month now. I think I have at least 10 pictures for each day that we have had Max. So it is time to start his own scrapbook. I think 8x8 will be the perfect size. So here is page one. Sorry, I don't have pictures actually printed yet. I tend to just be in the collection of photos on the computer, save till there are at least 1,000 to print at once, just do the pages for now, stage.
Boxer Supplies Used: Dog talk paper, Bunch-o-bones paper, black and white paw paper, small brown dot paper, Pet Stripe paper (GHP), 5/8 inch black rick rack, 1/4 tan rick rack, 1/4 inch red rick rack, Dog Lover's Button jar mix, Antique bone clips, Dog Lover's twine, Dog Lover's Ribbon pack, glue dots.
Additional supplies: black ink pad, black cardstock
So until next time, I will continue to take pictures of my Beagle puppy, Max, and save the photos but will try to get some printed for the next pages.
Happy Scrapping,
Laura

Today I am sharing a very quick and easy card using the Black and White line from Boxer. With the added buttons to the centers of the paper flowers and the use of one of the chipboard elements, this couldn't be easier!
Boxer supplies: B & W Paisley paper, B & W retro waves paper, flowers, White button mix, Printed chipboard accent.

I think one of my favorite products from Boxer Scrapbooks are the glaze pens. The fact that they can write on any surface, just makes them the perfect tool.
For this card, I used the Jone's Butterflies - Gold stickers by Printworks (available at www.Boxerscrapbooks.com) and placed them on the edge of the white card. Then I colored them with the glaze pens. For the larger butterfly in the greeting, I backed the sticker with white cardstock and then colored it. After the penwork had dried, I cut out the butterfly and folded up the wings.
Boxer Supplies used: Turquoise gingham paper, black grosgrain ribbon, Printworks stickers, Glaze pens (Sakura), Dazzles Greeting stickers (HOTP), black gelly roll pen (Sakura)
Additional supplies: black ink pad, white and black cardstock
Until next time, Happy Scrapping!

My sister in law and her hubby just had their first child...a bouncing baby boy named Theodore (Teddy for short). I have been working on a baby's first year calendar because I remember how much I loved having a place to jot those memories until I could take time to write them in the baby book.
Here is Baby's First Month. More to follow...

Paper embossed flowers are so easy to use. I like to snip in between the petals a little and then curl them for some added dimension. Then I cut the green ones apart for the leaves. The center red dot flower is using the Fold-Back Swirls template.
Boxer Supplies: Black and white striped paper, small red dot paper, Halloween paper embossed flowers, yellow buttons. 1/4" yellow rick rack, Dazzles greetings - silver (HOTP), black twine (Disney pack), white and black gelly roll pens (Sakura)
Additional supplies: Black and red ink pads, and 1/8 inch hole punch, black and white cardstock
Until next time, Happy Scrapping!

Here's a layout for you Disney fans!
In this layout I combined some red pattern papers from Boxer and the magical stardust paper from GHP. Also note that the journaling is on one of the large red chipboard accents. As long as you use a slick writer pen your good to go and it won't smudge!
Boxer supplies: red modern dots paper, red and white swirls paper, black and white small stars paper, magical memoris satin ribbon, magical memories chipboard accents, Minnie die cut
GHP: Magical starburst paper

This could be the solution. I tend to keep all my scraps, even though I say I try to keep them under control.. But I found that when making a project and the supplies are out on the table, I make a card and this solves the needing a last minute card. I will have several different themes and blank occasion cards on hand.
This card is just using a strip of dot paper and cardstock, wrapped with twine, and tie the ends with a button. Add a greeting sticker and adhere to the striped paper. Ink the edges and add some pen detail and your card is finished - fast and easy!
Boxer Supplies used: Small brown dot papers, Pet stripe (GHP), Dog Lover's twine, brown buttons, Stardust pen (Sakura), Dazzles Greetings, Gold (HOTP), white gelly roll pen (Sakura)
Additional supplies: Brown and red cardstock, brown ink pad
So until next time, Happy Scrapping!
