Work party invitation

These tool embellishments are Brad Buddies.  Metal embellishments with wonderful detail and simply attach to your project with brads.  Using a sanding block over the top of the Brad Buddies will highlight the details.  For this library book pocket, I covered the pocket with red cardstock and then attached the Brad Buddies to the pocket using glue dots.  This way the brads didn't go through the pocket.  Using a scrap piece of the new striped paper across the top of the library book card with mini brads, I then added the info for the work party to the library card.

Red and Black Congrats card

This weeks designer challenge was to combine something old with something new. Boxer just released new papers and products that will highlight past product lines! In this card I used the new red swirls paper with the older black and red stripe paper.  It goes so well with each other!  Make sure you keep coming back as all the designers will be sharing projects of the new products that Boxer has just released!

Lucky to have you

This card is s fun and easy way to show that special someone in your life how much you care.  I was lucky enough to be able to use my scraps to make the card.

 
The paper is from Boxer's Calendar papers, I also used small green polka dot paper and a tag. I embelished with a Boxer green button and some green and white bakers twine.

You're in my thoughts card

I think orange is becoming one of my favorite colors.  I love how the patterns mix so easily in the Cat line of papers.  Then there are the coordinating paper embossed flowers and the button mix - I am set with everything I need to make the perfect card with my favorite color!  To add some glitter, I used the Dazzle border stickers and the stardust pen.  I used the thin strip of black cardstock behind the border stickers to really make them pop. 

Supplies: Small orange dot paper, Cat paisley paper, Orange argyle paper, Cat Lover's paper embossed flowers, Cat Lover's Button mix, You're in my thoughts Sentimental Singles stamp, Dazzles Border stickers - silver, white gelly roll pen, Stardust pen, glue dots, foam tape

Thinking of you card

This week the dt gals are using some of those cute charms that Boxer has available!  Attach them to your cards, layouts, mini albums or other projects.  It adds just the right amount of "charm" to your project! :) :)

Here on this card I attached a star charm underneath the ribbon.

A fun and cheery card that would work equally well for a male or a female. Change the greeting for birthday or just a note. The Sentiment Singles stamps make it so easy to come up with great cards in a jiffy.

Happy Birthday card

I think one of my favorite products are the Embossed Paper Flowers.  They are so easy to curl the petals, ink the edges, add penwork, layer the flowers, and add centers.  I added white penwork around the edge of the turqoise flower.  Then for the small white flower, I punched half circles in the tops of the petals to change the shape of the flower and then inked it.  Finished it with a button to the center.  The Happy Birthday Chipboard piece works perfectly as the sentiment.  Extremely fast and easy card!

Supplies: Happy Birthday chipboard, black mini brads, black buttons, Turquoise dot paper, Turquoise Tropical Flower paper. White Gelly Roll pen, Stardust pen, Tropical Embossed flowers, Magical Memories Embossed flowers

3 hearts Love card

It's in the air...Love that is!  Have you made your sweetie a card yet?  Here is the card that I made for my dear hubby for Valentine's day. I punched the pattern paper with a heart shaped punch and machine stitched them down the middle before attaching them to the card front.  Then I lifted the edges up to give the hearts a bit of definition.

Baby Charm cards

These three cards were super quick and easy to make. I simply typed the words Congrats on a card stock, printed it out on a piece of white cardstock and embelished with a little strip of Boxer Green, Pink and baby blue polks dot paper. I added a beautiful little baby charm for a simple, yet elegant baby card.

Just Because card

The new release of papers from Boxer are awesome.  I love this Retro Wave.  So much you can do with it.  I cut open some of the spaces to create windows.  I added a stamped greeting behind one window.  Masking off the greeting can easily change the position of the words in the stamp so it can fit in the window.  The other two windows were the blue cardstock from the mat around the paper.  I add the flowers to those windows.  To expand the border, I cut slits in the next row of waves and threaded the ribbon through the slits.  An x-acto knife works perfect for this.

Disney Birthday Party invite

This weeks sketch from Di, is for a card.  My favorite type of sketches since I'm a card making kind of gal! ;)  Here I created a birthday party invite for a little girl.  Combining the pink and green together to make such an adorable invite!

 

Boxer supplies used: Princess stripe paper, green dotted paper, Valentine embossed paper flowers, Princess chipboard accents, and Invite Me stamps.

 We are just 11 days away from Valentines Day. I love creating handmade projects for this special time of year. I found this big square lollipop and I knew it would be cute and fun to embellish for Valentines day. I used a 2" scallop circle punch, and created a cute little tage from an oval punch with a heart.

Boxer products: Red and Pink diagnal stripe and pink polka dot paper.

Other: Scallop cirle and oval punch, heart punch, circle punch, cardstock and ribbon.
