Oh Christmas Tree

This Christmas Tree stamp from the  Christmas Stamp Set is one of my very favorites in the Boxer Line. There are SO many different ways to decorate it. For this card, I chose to use assorted colors of Mini Brads as little ornaments. Stipple coordinating ink around the edges, mount on Boxer Basics Green Dot paper and then onto a card covered in Boxer Basics Red and Green Stripe paper. Quick and festive!

I "heart" Grandpa

My little one just adores his Papa!  I created this layout of a random picture (an older one) of my lil' guy and my father in law.  I cut the cowboy boots die cut in half and used it on the top and bottom of the layout.  If you wanted to do a 12x12 layout you could leave the die cut in tack but if you want to do a 8.5x11 layout, feel free to cut those die cuts apart!  Even cut it further to put onto a card (Hey!  I think I'll do that next time! :))

Boxer supplies used: Giddy up words paper, Giddy up texture paper, Boxer cuts cowboy boots, Nickel mini brads, XL metal rimmed tag, Bundle of Joy stamp set, Horseshoe grosgrain ribbon.

Snowflake Christmas

This card has some fun techniques that give it a little twist. First, take a standard folded card and trim one and a quarter inches off of right side of the card front. Cover the front and right side of the inside flaps with patterned papers. Next, use a large punch or circle cutting tool to cut a circle out of the front flap of the card and a snowflake patterned paper. Adhere the paper to the inside flap so that it fits into the opening of the front flap. Stamp Sentiment and stamp snowflakes onto front flap. Add glitter glue or glitter pen highlights. 

 

Supplies: Blue Dot, Snowflakes on White, and Blue Argyle papers. Snowflakes from Winter stamp set.

Another calendar page!

Another calendar page from me this week, using the 6x6 calendar. I've said I love this size, but I really really do! So fun and quick to put pages together! The thing with this size, is that simplicity really is the key! No need to put lots of elements on the page, just let the patterned paper do it's job!

Spooky Halloween card

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!  How about creating this very quick and easy card!  I'm so not a spider fan at all!  They completly freak me out, but this little stamp I challenged myself to use. :)  To make the web, I used the glitter pen and free hand drawn the spider web then I stamped the spider in the center.

Boxer supplies used: Black gingham paper, fish lover's alphabet stickers, nickel mini brads, fall stamp set.

Time for Christmas cards

I thought it was time to get a jump on my holiday cards, so you will be seeing a few of them over the coming weeks. This one is a simple yet classic design that would be great if you needed to mass produce a lot of cards in a short amount of time.

Feels like Fall!

Fall is certainly here isn't it? Doesn't seem too long ago I was complaining about the temperatures being above 100 degrees, and now I am searching out sweaters and winter coats! I also hear the mountains got snow too! Snowboarding season will soon be here! Just thought I'd share a fall card this week. Nice and simple and the patterned paper really feels like fall doesn't it?

Boo!

With Halloween a little more than a week away I thought I would get a head start on the boys Halloween page.  It's all ready to go, I just need to take a picture of them in their costumes.  I will have a policeman and Darth Vader rooming the streets with me this year. :)

Candies and cookies and goodies, oh my!!

Halloween is a great time of year to take your scrapbook thinking outside of the box. I love creating altered scrapbooking projects. These little goodie pyramids are even cuter with Boxer scrapbook pages. The Holiday themed papers are just what you need get you in the Holiday mmod. Each pyramid will be filled with lots of Hersheys Hugs and kisses for teacher treats, shhhh.... don't tell ;-)...

I created the tags using Digital image pro, printed them out on cardstock and I cut them with a 2" scallop circle punch.

Boxer Products used:12x12 Black dot paper, 12x12 spooky, orange gingham

Other products: Ellison pyramid box die cut, Ellison Pumpkin die cut, 2" scallop circle punch, orange and purple ribbon, pharmacy and tangerine font. ~Becky
